Lovingly known as “Sai Sir” in Prasanthi, he was part of the first batch of students and has over 47 years of experiences with Swami. He is also a tabla player in the Prashanthi Mandir Bhajan Group During May 2018, one of Sai Baba’s ex-students, now a teacher at the Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School (SSSHSS) in India, toured Australia

Sai Surendranath’s family has been associated with Sai Baba since 1948. He became a student at the Sathya Sai Junior College in 1977 and attended the Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Deemed University in 1979 completing a Bachelor of Commerce and then a Master of Commerce in 1984. He is now a post graduate teacher in the SSSHSS in the Department of Commerce. His teaching qualities have been recognised by the Ministry of Human Resources Department. His family has had close association with Sai over several generations, including his son who was guided by Sai towards the study of medicine. This close contact has led to many experiences and the discussion of these promises a enjoyable, interesting and informative set of addresses.

Dato J Jagadeesan is a dynamic and inspiring speaker who has been active in interfaith and service projects around the world as well as having many personal experiences with Swami over the years. Jagadeesan is currently Chair of the Interfaith Committee of Public Outreach Committee of Sathya Sai International Organisation. He has traveled extensively promoting interfaith, spiritual values and human values.
Jagadeesan is a former trade ambassador for Malaysia (hence the honorific Dato’) and a well known devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba who has visited Australia on many occasions.

Br Amitabh Das Gupta (former Swami’s student from 1982 to 1999) and worked at Prasanthi Nilayam from 1999 to 2005, gave a talk at Swami’s 88th (Advent) Birthday Celebrations held in Melbourne, Australia on 23rd November 2013.

Excerpts from Professor Anil Kumar’s talk in Melbourne, Australia  – 1 February 2013

He is best known for translating Swami’s discourses into English. He also gives very popular talks on Sunday mornings in Prashanti Nilayam and visits many Sai centres for the same purpose. He has been the Principal of the Brindavan campus and even today serves in the Prasanthi Nilayam campus as a faculty member in the Department of Bio-Chemistry in the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.

Leonardo Gutter is currently a member of the Prasanthi Council and was Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Organisation of Latin America Zone 2.
A psychologist by profession and a successful businessman.
He is one of the founding and first Coordinating Committee members of the Sathya Sai Organisation in Argentina.
For many years he also held the responsibility for coordinating cultural programs by devotees in Prashanthi Nilayam.

The second annual National Walk for Values in Australia occured simultaneously in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, providing an Australia-Wide context.

A collaborative service activity of the Sai Medical Unit of Australia and Sathya Sai Service Organisation of Fiji.
Free medical services were provided over the period 13th July to 18th July 2008 in the rural areas of Viti Levu, Fiji by volunteers from Australia, Fiji and New Zealand as a service project of the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation.
